Lithuanian language and culture.
I am the founder and director of the Melbourne Lithuanian School Baltija. This is an ethnic Lithuanian-language primary school that meets on weekends, with the purpose of preserving our Lithuanian language and heritage in Australia. I also teach music (folk song and dance) to children at the school. The school was founded in 2015, and was preceded with a Lithuanian language kindergarten that I also founded, in 2012. Website: www.melburnobaltija.org. All Lithuanian-speaking children in Melbourne are welcome to enroll in the school.
I play the pipe organ (Illinois State Music Association finalist for many years), piano, accordion and was a member of the University of Illinois Russian folk orchestra.
From 2008-2009 I was an organist at the Otaki-Waikanae Presbyterian Church in New Zealand.
