Lithuanian language and culture.
I am the founder and director (2015-2018) of the Melbourne Lithuanian School Baltija. This is an ethnic Lithuanian-language primary school that meets on weekends, with the purpose of preserving our Lithuanian language and heritage in Australia. I also taught music (folk song and dance) to children at the school. The school was founded in 2015, and was preceded with a Lithuanian language kindergarten that I also founded, in 2012.
Music.
I have played the pipe organ since childhood. I was a finalist in Illinois State Music Association competitions for many years. I also play the piano and accordion. I played the accordion in the University of Illinois Russian folk orchestra.
From 2008-2009 I was an organist at the Otaki-Waikanae Presbyterian Church in New Zealand.
I am now learning the cello!
