Work experience

I am a Chaired Professor of International Business at the School of Business, Maynooth University, Ireland. Prior to moving to Ireland, I was an Associate Professor (equivalent to Professor B in Ireland) in International Business in the Department of Management at Monash University, Australia, Senior Lecturer in International Business at the Victoria University of Wellington, School of Marketing and International Business in New Zealand. I have also worked in Lithuania in the Department of Marketing at Vilnius University as a lecturer and associate professor.

I have lived, worked, and studied in ten countries. My global experience has sparked and influenced my research in international and cross-cultural management issues.

Research interests

My field is international business and management. I am most interested in cross-cultural management, and the influence of cultural values in shaping our identities, perceptions, interactions and behaviors in the workplace and beyond. My current research focuses on these areas.
